ACL today announced that Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE), recognized as the global leader in consumer-based computer entertainment, has selected ACL™ GRC to meet its Internal Audit and Risk Management requirements. The company will deploy the solution to manage the strategic and operational activities of the Internal Audit and Risk Management teams.
SCEE was in search of a system to facilitate collaboration among departments across the business and substantially reduce the period of time between audit testing completion and the issuance of final audit reports. Prior to the implementation of ACL GRC, the Internal Audit team were using manual, paper-based files, which were cumbersome and hindered coordination between the Internal Audit team and Auditees that spanned various geographic locations, from London to Sydney. Through the use of ACL GRC, SCEE expects Internal Audit processes to immediately become streamlined, resulting in more timely reporting and file review.
“In our search for a solution, we were impressed by the technology’s ability to take the pain out of annual and individual engagement planning, file review, and reporting,” said Trudi Ingles, Head of Internal Audit, Risk Management, SOX, Compliance, and Information Security at SCEE. “We strive to assist management in mitigating key strategic, operational, and financial risks, while improving the efficiency and effectiveness of overall business operations. We are confident that ACL GRC will help us to accomplish those goals.”
Benefits of ACL GRC include:
“A key value that SCEE will derive from this system is its instant capacity to solidify a cohesive audit team that can easily collaborate and work with better sightlines,” said Dan Zitting, VP of Product Management and Design at ACL. “Through the use of data-driven technology, departments are able to deliver maximum value to the top levels of their organization.”
