October has been a great month at DataConsulting but a personal highlight was our very own Great British Bake Off! It’s an annual event here in our office which coincides with the much loved show and our end of quarter celebrations.
This year involved eleven participants who each made great bakes, proving we are much more than data analysts and pretty faces!
Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood rudely declined our invitation to judge so we had to enlist the help of our next-door neighbours at number 5. The wait was tense whilst the two judges dissected each bake piece by piece. They concluded Robin’s Chocolate Swirl cake was the worthiest winner, along with Kathryn and Sam in second and third place respectively. However, the gloves came off when we discovered the winner ‘had a little help’ from his daughter…
