Not a month goes by it seems without us bringing in someone new to the DataConsulting team and this month is no exception. Kai Sunman joins us straight from university and he’s already shown he’s got the legs on our MD when it comes to running, it might be time for Robin to take a back seat and let the young guns come through. Kai has put a few words together introducing himself below.
Hi, my name is Kai, I was born in Barnsley and still live there now (because why would you move?). I only recently moved back home though as I’ve spent the last three years studying Psychology at the University of Leeds. Being at university was great for me, I met some amazing people and loved my course, but by the end of my three years there I was desperate to take on a new challenge.
For this reason, I cannot wait to get involved with the amazing team at DataConsulting, where I will be challenged to learn new things as well as being able to put some of the statistics and analytical thinking I was taught at university to the test! Being at DataConsulting means I can make real contributions to the company, rather than just being another number for a huge cooperation.
Outside of work, most of my time is taken up by sport. I’ll try my hand at most sports and love playing football whenever I can, but for reasons unbeknownst to me, the sport I enjoy most is running, and it has been from a young age; my favourite place to run is the lake district, even if the weather can be a bit ‘unsettled’ sometimes.
