It was again our pleasure to attend and present at the ISACA Central UK Chapter that was held at the Crowne Plaza, Solihull, Birmingham, on Wednesday 13th November 2019.
Our presentation was on the subject of…you’ve guessed it Data Analytics and the recent changes that have taken place in this area, which has seen focus shift from the actual tool to the person who is actually using the tool, along with the effectiveness of visualization as opposed to a standard Excel report.
We’ve actually noticed quite a significant change of direction in this area ourselves, in that it’s really the responsibility of the assigned individual/team involved at a company to drive a data analytics function. The tool will only take you so far!

As always with ISACA, there were excellent presentations and conversations, throughout, followed by a tasty lunch.
The next such event is the ISACA Central UK and IIA West Midlands Joint Event that’s to be held on the 28th January 2019 at Aston University. DataConsulting’s Robin Clough is scheduled to present.
