This year marked the 20th Anniversary of the ISACA Central UK Chapter and we were very fortunate to present at this important chapter meeting.
ISACA is an independent, non-profit, global association that engages in the development, adoption and use of globally accepted, industry-leading knowledge and practices for information systems. Previously known as the Information Systems Audit and Control Association, ISACA now goes by its acronym only, to reflect the broad range of IT governance professionals it serves.
The ISACA® Central UK Chapter was formed in 1993 to provide ISACA® members living or working in the Midlands with the opportunity to network with fellow professionals. They also provide training and professional development opportunities in Midlands. ISACA’s mission is to promote the Assurance, Security and Governance of information systems locally.
The opportunity to network with other professionals in the same field is very exciting and it provided a sturdy foundation to learn in greater depth about current trends in our industry. During the day we had presentations from industry leading professionals, one of whom was our Managing Director Robin Clough, who presented on Enterprise Controls Monitoring (ECM). Robin has kindly agreed to share his presentation here. It’s certainly an interesting topic and I strongly recommend you give it a read. If you would like to know further information, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Main presentations at ISACA were:
If you are not currently a member of ISACA then I would highly recommend that you sign up to receive all the benefits. In addition you will gain access to all of the above presentations and also presentations from previous events.
