DataConsulting recently were in attendance at the FAP / IIA Conference – The Internal Auditor’s Fraud Toolkit. The conference was extremely well attended and was hosted at a great venue – the Institute of Chartered Accountant’s One Moorgate Place. Speakers were drawn from all sectors and topics of discussion varied from the Bribery Act to Whistle Blowing.
A common thread which spanned pretty much all the presentations was the need to use data analytics in the challenge to detect and prevent fraud. This obviously was music to our ears and certainly helps promote our message! During the coffee breaks our joint stall with ACL was inundated with keen visitors looking to gain some insight into ACL’s data analytics software.
