Detecting Clocking In Fraud With ACL

2011-04-01

Most companies take a dim view of colleagues who clock in their friends but, having caught someone in the act, would you know whether this is an isolated incident, or common practice in the workplace? Perhaps, you’re not aware that it happens, or just want someone to take a look? Even the most modern time and attendance systems are fallible.

And whilst it’s possible to catch fraudsters in the act, it’s not easy to police remotely. However, with the data captured, it is possible. The tell-tale signs are there: the check-in order, the timing between logins. These are all strong indicators of fraudulent activity. Automated analytics can answer the question as to whether, and how often clock in fraud occurs. That’s where we can help.
