ACL, the company that is transforming audit and risk management, today announced they have entered into a new partnership with the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors (‘IIA’) in support of the promotion and development of the internal audit profession in the region.
ACL will work with the Chartered Institute across a variety of activities, including joint research, networking opportunities, value-added resources and thought leadership on the strategic benefit around adoption of purpose-built audit technology in identifying and mitigating risk, protection of profits and accelerating performance.
Laurie Schultz, CEO at ACL said: “We are excited to support the Chartered Institute in its objective to develop and raise the profile of the internal audit profession. At ACL, our vision is to create a world where audit and other risk professionals are an organisation’s most sought-after people—for their insight not only into risks, but also into opportunities to dramatically increase organisational performance. Our customers are proud of the relevance we help them attain by helping them put their amazing work into an executive context”.
Ian Peters, Chief Executive, Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors said: “I am delighted to welcome ACL as an IIA Partner. We are looking forward to working together across a wide range of activities which will help us develop the profession further and raise its profile. As the independent voice of the profession, the IIA is leading the way to ensure internal audit’s role and value is understood by all those within and outside organisations who have an interest in improving risk management and promoting strong corporate governance.”
