ACL London User Group – Winter Meeting – 13th February 2013 @ 5.30pm EY London

The winter meeting of the London ACL User Group will be held on Wednesday 13th February at 5.30pm, at the Ernst & Young offices in London. This will be our first meeting since the ‘Olympics’ summer, so I look forward to seeing many of you. Many thanks to Graeme and E&Y for providing the venue and being the host speaker. Venue details are:
Ernst & Young LLP

1, More London Place, London SE1 2AF

The nearest tube / railway station is London Bridge
The outline agenda is:

  • Introductions – Graeme Baguley & David Britain
  • Analytics in external audit and ACL in fraud – E&Y Team
  • Tutorial on the use of ‘Fuzzy Duplicates’ in ACL 9.3 – DataConsulting
  • Break out session on “Top tips and things to avoid when using ACL” – all
  • AOB and close – Paul Lloyd-Smith & David Britain

As is tradition, when the meeting is over we will convene at a nearby pub for a social drink.

We will need to advise the venue of the names of attendees so if you could confirm whether you will be able to attend that would be helpful and appreciated. If you could send an email to David Britain with one of these options that will help us gauge numbers:

  • I plan to attend
  • I might attend
  • I’m unable to attend

Remember this is your group, so if you are interested in learning more about a subject please let me have some suggestions and, if you wish to present on a subject at a future meeting or pass on some knowledge to your fellow members, let me know the details.

Finally, we have a London ACL Users Group on LinkedIn. Please feel free to contribute to or initiate discussions with your fellow members.
