Here at DataConsulting, we are very excited about ACL Analytics 10 and of course the EXECUTE command! With this command the world is our oyster – sorry to be so cheesy, but nevertheless very true. This command gives us the ability to develop more sophisticated and robust analytics. I won’t delve into too much detail, my colleague Alex goes through an interesting example in this month’s Newsletter. If you haven’t had a chance to have look I strongly recommend you give it a read, it’s very insightful and an interesting read.
We would like to use this month’s Coffee Corner to announce the ACL Analytics 10 EXECUTE Command Contest. This is an open invitation to all ACL users around the world to submit their best example of an interesting use of the EXECUTE command within an ACL Script. I am confident that the winner of the ACL Analytics 10 Execute Command Competition is more than likely reading this article right now – so get ready, get steady and go. Let’s show the rest of the ACL users what we UK ACL users can develop.
Entries will be judged on the degree of creativity, level of complexity, clarity and (most importantly) business impact. The Grand Prize winner will receive the highly coveted title of “ACL Master Script Integrator” and their own Avatar with the opportunity to post on the ACL Blog, shining as one of the brightest minds in the ACL universe. Ten winners will receive an autographed copy of Fraud Analysis Techniques Using ACL by Dave Coderre (value $225 each). Each customer who submits – you can submit multiple entries – will receive a small gift from ACL.
